Restube is a self-inflating water safety buoy that attaches comfortably to your waist. For open water swimming, Restube can either be inflated with a gas cylinder when pulling a string (this is for emergencies) or you can manually inflate it and use it like a tow float. The difference to traditional tow floats is that they have 50N or even 75N buoyancy so you can lean on them properly for support if you need a rest. For windsurfers and kitesurfers, it’s a backup PFD, or for rescue.
